The Acting President Vjosa Osmani, a day after the establishment of diplomatic relations between Kosovo and Israel held a telephone conversation with the Speaker of the Knesset (Assembly of Israel) Mr. Yariv Levin.

Osmani thanked Mr. Levin on his country's decision to recognize the state of Kosovo, expressing hope that the opening of this new chapter will be a good opportunity for the intensification of relations in many areas. In this context, relations with Israel have been considered to be of strategic importance.
