President Vjosa Osmani has confirmed that she will participate in the inauguration ceremony of the new Montenegrin president, Jakov Millatović, which will be held on Saturday in Podgorica. The 36-year-old Western-educated economist won the second round presidential election in Montenegro against outgoing president Milo Djukanovic.

Millatovic's candidacy was viewed with great suspicion in Pristina as he was supported by pro-Serbian and pro-Russian parties, with Prime Minister Albin Kurti publicly declaring before the election that Djukanovic's loss would lead the Montenegrin nation to extinction.
