The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu has met with representatives of civil society organizations to discuss the process of selecting the Chief State Prosecutor. President Osmani thanked the representatives of the civil society for the active participation in the monitoring of the process of selection of the Chief State Prosecutor, underlining that any recommendation identified during the process will be considered with special care. "It is essential that every appointment is the result of a transparent and fair process, and that every candidate has a proven career integrity. These are basic principles that I have followed in every appointment I have made," said President Osmani. According to a press release from the Presidency, Osmani will continue consultations with other actors involved in this process to ensure that the process has been fair and acceptable.
