The Poklek massacre is one of the most brutal massacres committed by Serb criminals who roam free in Serbia. 54 martyrs were killed there, mostly women and children. This was said by the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu and the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca after paying homage to the memorial complex in Poklek, on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of the massacre in this village. It also said that 24 children along with their families were not only executed but were also burned, several times in a row by Serbian genocidal forces. President Osmani said that on this sad day they are commemorating one of the most horrific massacres of our republic.
