Only Eid al-Fitr prayers will be held in the mosque

The Presidency of the Islamic Community of Kosovo has announced that the great month of Ramadan ends on Wednesday, May 12. According to the announcement, the first day of the Eid al-Fitr holiday is Thursday, May 13th. "Due to the pandemic situation, in the country's mosques there will be no traditional manifestation, even the Fajr prayer will be done in homes, and in the mosque only the Eid al-Fitr prayer will be held. The Fitr-Eid prayer will take place at 05:53. Meanwhile, the mosques will be opened only 15 minutes before the Eid prayer. Believers are required to maintain physical distance and observe anti-Covid measures during the Eid al-Fitr prayer", it is said in the announcement.
