March 13, 2020 marks the day when the first two cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Kosovo, a pandemic that has invaded the world for more than a year. From then until now, there have been over 76 thousand positive cases with COVID-19 in Kosovo, while 1,688 people have lost the battle with this disease. Despite these figures, state authorities consider that Kosovo, with a fragile health system has successfully managed the COVID-19 pandemic.

At 17:30 on March 13, the first two citizens infected with coronavirus were confirmed. They were a 77-year-old man from the village of Stubell of Vitia and a 20-year-old woman from Italy.
