The Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Kosovo Forensic Agency, Blerim Olluri, said that they faced a lack of essential materials for performing DNA analysis, which, according to him, occurred due to lengthy procurement procedures. Before the MPs, he addressed the issue of procurement where he requested exemption from regular procedures. He also demanded that the status of the Kosovo Forensic Agency be excluded from the law on public officials. Blerim Olluri admitted that they faced a lack of essential materials for performing DNA analysis, adding that they went with general requirements in procurement procedures, which according to him, delayed their provision.
