Nora Gjakova is the official candidate of the Kosovo Judo Federation for the IJF (International Judo Federation) Athletes’ Commission at JudoWorlds to be held in Budapest, KosovaPress reports.

Olympic champion, world bronze medalist and eight-time European medalist, Nora has proudly represented Kosovo at three Olympic Games, always being an inspiring example on and off the mat.

Now, she is ready to represent the voices of athletes on the global stage, bringing her experience, integrity and passion for judo to the heart of decision-making.

The elections will be held during the World Judo Championships for Seniors (June 13-19, 2025) in Hungary. Only athletes accredited to the World Championships can vote.
