Murati: The new law on property tax is in the final stages of drafting, progressive tax is foreseen
The Minister of
Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati, today stated that it should be
clarified that the property tax as a tax, is a tax that is collected by the
municipalities and is municipal revenue, so the municipalities use it
exclusively to provide services and infrastructure to citizens in the
municipalities where they live.
He said that this should be clarified because,
as he said, there have been allegations that the Government has increased taxes
to increase revenues, but, according to him, this has not happened.
