Murati on the dinar: Differences with allies, only on the issue of transition
One day after the statements of the US Assistant Secretary of State, James O'Brien, that if the US is not treated as a partner, they will not treat the Government of Kosovo as a partner either, government officials have reacted.
The Minister of Finance, Hekuran Murati, said that Kosovo is a committed partner and coordinates with the allies.
At the press conference, after the government meeting, he said that in terms of the goals they want to achieve through the CBK regulation, they have no differences with the allies, but the differences exist only in terms of the transitional period for informing the Serbian community in Kosovo.
He blamed the Special Prosecutor's Office for not strengthening the argument before the international community that Serbia sponsored terrorist groups with the dinars it transferred to Kosovo.
In addition, Murati, speaking about the third anniversary of coming to power, said that as a government they have done more than all previous governments together.
According to him, over 60,000 new jobs have been opened during these three years, where, as he says, 20,000 are only due to government measures.
On the other hand, the Minister of Justice, Albulena Haxhiu, said that in her department the challenge has been the implementation of the justice reform, where she added that the obstacles to this are the justice institutions.
