In the framework of his first visit to Kosovo, the Director General of the OPEC Fund for International Development Abdulhamid Alkhalifa and the Minister of Finance Hekuran Murati signed today the loan agreement for the program "Kosovo Public Finances and Economic Growth", worth $40 million.

The agreement supports the Government's priorities for the period 2021-2025, which include fiscal transparency, private sector support, and energy transition. The agreement with OPEC comes as a continuation of reforms prepared with the World Bank for Financing Development Policies for Public Finance and Sustainable Growth.
