Mufti Tërnava wishes Muslim believers on Eid al-Adha

On the occasion of Eid al-Adha holiday, the mufti of Kosovo, Naim Tërnava, has given a congratulatory message focusing on this holiday and also congratulating on the country's Liberation Day.

Tërnava expressed joy and respect for this important holiday for Muslim believers all over the world. Emphasizing the importance of this great day for Kosovar society and families, he wished for the harmony and joy that the holiday brings among believers.

Beyond the celebrations of faith, the Mufti also commemorated the Liberation Day of Kosovo, congratulating the country's citizens on this important historical day. He expressed his respect for the sacrifices of previous generations that helped to achieve Kosovo's independence, stressing the importance of memory and continuous dedication for the country's future.

Among other things, Tërnava expressed his concern about the conflicts in Palestine and Ukraine, calling for the restoration of peace in these regions.

He said that we as citizens should work on promoting peace, spreading brotherhood and tolerance.

The first day of Eid al-Adha is on Sunday, June 16, 2024. The central manifestation for the territory of Kosovo, dedicated to the holiday of Eid al-Adha, will be held in the Great Mosque in Prishtina. /Z. Zeneli/
