Ternava calls for the schools to begin: It is not a time for clashes
The mufti of Kosovo, Naim Ternava, has appealed to the education unions and civil servants to stop the strike and return to their workplace. In a press conference, he asked the Government and Assembly of Kosovo to approve the Bill on salaries as soon as possible.
Mufti Tërnava appreciated the role of
teachers saying that it is in the premises of the holy mission. He stated that
throughout the history of Albanians, teachers have played an important role,
being pillars of the establishment of independence.
The head of the ICK stated that they
support all the demands of the teachers, but asked the Teacher’s Union (SBAShK)
to end the strike and start classes tomorrow.
Mufti Tërnava, also had an appeal for civil
servants, asking them to start their work.
