The MPs have failed to constitute the Assembly of Kosovo even on the 53rd attempt. On the last day according to the deadline set by the Constitutional Court, they will meet again at 22:00. There were 107 MPs present in the plenary hall. The session began with a minute of silence in honor of the hero Enver Zymberi, national cause activist Adem Demaçi, and all police officers fallen in the line of duty.

The chair of the constitutive session, Avni Dehari, once again put to vote the committee for secret ballot voting.

Abelard Tahiri, MP from the Democratic Party of Kosovo, even after his microphone was cut off, asked Dehari to return to the agenda and respect the decision of the Constitutional Court.

The microphone was also cut off for the MP of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Jehona Lushaku-Sadriu.

Dehari: Control room, please cut the microphone. Only for proposals,” he said among other things.

Time Kadriaj, MP from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), said that “the only abuser is Albin Kurti.”

The chair of the constitutive session, Avni Dehari, said there were 107 MPs present in the hall and that they would convene again at 22:00 to attempt the constitution of the Assembly.

The Constitutional Court has imposed a temporary measure on Assembly sessions from Sunday, July 27 until August 8.
