The co-chairman of the ‘Guxo’ Party, at the same time the Minister of Agriculture, Faton Peci has declared that they are ready for the second governing mandate to lead Kosovo towards an even more developed and prosperous future.

At the big gathering of the Guxo Party today with members and supporters in Prishtina, Minister Peci emphasized that there is no challenge that can hold this party back to move the country forward.

"Today I feel proud to stand in front of you who believed in Guxo from the first day. With this magnificent gathering we are here to testify and reaffirm the strong will we have for Kosovo, to present the results and our contribution to governance, to offer the guarantee of principled and sincere cooperation, as well as the vision for a secure second term of government for the country. We are together today to reaffirm that there is no challenge that can hold us back," said Peci.

He said that it took courage to build a new political organization by parting ways with the LDK, which, out of all the political legacy of the historical former president Ibrahim Rugova, wanted to keep only the party's logo and never fight crime and corruption.

"Guxo was born as an imperative of the time, as a political alternative that would create a new standard of policy-making based on the high principles of leadership, taking into account the responsibility before the voters, the public word given, governance with clean hands, transparent governance that does not abuse even a single cent… It took courage to build a new political organization and part ways with those who, out of all the political legacy of the historical president, Ibrahim Rugova, wanted to keep only the party logo, thus turning into sub-contractors of crime and corruption. It took responsibility, courage to separate from the structures that had lost contact with the citizens, and for personal needs signed whatever was served to them, and even closed their eyes to the plans for the division of Kosovo. They thought they were too many, but now they are satisfied with the letters, but by changing the colors of the photo, and often removing the photo of the president as appropriate, they do all this because they are looking for a new mentality, but they are stuck in the old one", said Peci. /E.
