The Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers, Hekuran Murati said that it is the duty of the Government of Kosovo to come to the aid of social cases in times of crisis, but according to him, the initiatives undertaken by the government are hindered by the opposition. In the plenary session that is being held today, Murati said that the opposition is "acting" by not voting even on the Law on Minimum Wage, while adding that the same will be done with the Law on Wages. The head of the PDK Parliamentary Group, Abelard Tahiri, reacted to these statements, saying that the international agreement on the social assistance reform will never be voted on because it is harmful. Regarding the Minimum Wage Law, Tahiri said that the proposal is insufficient and that they will not allow an unscrupulous minister to raise the minimum wage in this way.
