From next year, the Ministry of Defense will have over 100 million euros in its budget. The Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj, also wrote about this, saying that with the significant increase of the budget, the Kurti Government shows its commitment for Kosovo to have a modern army with NATO standards and ready to defend the country. He also emphasizes that the future is in NATO. Mehaj further wrote that the modern force well equipped and with members with conditions similar to NATO countries is his commitment as Minister of Defense.
