The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora has appealed to all compatriots traveling to Kosovo to ensure they have valid documents when traveling by road.
In an official statement, the MFA emphasizes that travel with expired documents is not permitted through the territories of certain countries, regardless of the practices in the country of departure.
“Referring to recent cases reported during transit, particularly through the territory of Italy, we highlight the need for citizens to verify in advance the documentation requirements for each country they pass through during their journey.We urge citizens to plan their trips carefully and to be informed about the entry conditions of each country they travel through. In case of uncertainty, we invite you to contact our diplomatic and consular missions for further guidance,” the statement reads, as reported by KosovaPress.
