Dear Prime Minister,

On the occasion of your re-election, I warmly congratulate you. I am pleased that we will continue together to deepen the close and friendly relations between our countries.

Challenging tasks lie ahead for you and your government. I am confident that with your experience, you will take the right and necessary decisions for Kosovo’s further Euro-Atlantic integration. This includes further progress in the dialogue on normalization with Serbia, mediated by the EU.

I assure you that Kosovo has in Germany a strong and reliable partner at its side in these processes.

I wish you success and well-being in the continued exercise of your duties.

Respectfully,

Friedrich Merz
Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany
