Malisheva and Mamusha benefit from EU support for efficiency, 5 projects get inaugurated

The municipalities of Malisheva and Mamusha are the next beneficiaries of the application of energy efficiency measures from the Kosovo Fund for Energy Efficiency, supported by the European Union, the World Bank and the Government of Kosovo.

In the Municipality of Malisheva, two energy efficiency projects have been completed in the building of the municipality of Malisheva and in the high school "Hamdi Berisha" worth over 400 thousand euros.

Meanwhile, 3 other projects with solar panels have been realized in Mamusha worth over 45 thousand euros in the municipal administrative building, in the "Anadolu" school and in the "Ataturk" high school.

Some of the measures included in these projects are external thermal insulation with stone wool, replacement of windows and doors with efficient aluminum ones, new boiler for central heating with pellets or heat pumps, LED lighting and other components.
