Malicious attacks on women: one targeted with an explosive device at her home, others have their business set on fire
Women’s properties and businesses were targeted in two attacks and dangerous incidents affecting security in Kosovo on Wednesday.
One attack occurred in Podujevë and the other in Pristina.
In the first case, several unknown individuals reportedly threw an explosive device at a woman’s home in the village of Sfeqël, two hours after midnight, according to the police. The perpetrators have not been caught, but investigations to locate them are ongoing. The case has been classified as “use of a weapon or dangerous device.”
In the capital, women were also the target of a malicious attack. Police reported that around 21:00, a women-owned business on “Garcie Lorka” street was set on fire deliberately.
