Majlinda Kelmendi retires today with a state ceremony

Kosovar judoka Majlinda Kelmendi will officially retire today from all her activities as an active judoka. On this occasion, a ceremony will be organized by the President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani which will be held at the "Ali Hadri" Institute in Pristina, starting at 18:00. Majlinda had great achievements where during her career she collected 46 very important trophies, KosovaPress reports. Kelmendi has won 32 gold medals in major judo competitions during her career, 6 silver and 8 bronze medals. She will retire after an extremely outstanding career, as an Olympic champion, a world champion (2 times) and a continental champion (4 times).
