The MP of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Driton Selmanaj has called scandalous the decision of the President, Vjosa Osmani to dismiss Valdete Daka from the post of chairwoman of the Central Election Commission (CEC). He said at the Assembly session that the reasons for dismissing the CEC chairwoman resembled a political pamphlet. Calling Osmani the president of the parliamentary majority, he said that instead of guaranteeing the constitutional functioning of the institutions, she has chosen to undermine the independent institutions.
