The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) has reiterated its demand for a public debate between its candidate for prime minister, Lumir Abdixhiku, and the current prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.

The party's spokesperson, Besian Mustafa, in a press conference asked journalists and citizens to ask Albin Kurti, "why he does not accept such a debate, to talk about a single topic, about the future of Kosovo."

“I call on all media, and all citizens of Kosovo, to ask Albin Kurti a question, why he does not respond to Lumir’s call for a public debate. In any place, at any time, a live debate, only about one topic, the future of Kosovo. I am asking you all, isn’t this the most important thing, doesn’t the people of Kosovo deserve a real debate, to see who will take better care of their future. Who has the best plans, who has the ability to implement these plans, who has the team to implement these plans. I know that the answer is clear, but Kurti should at least respond to the people. We call on him once again: Come to the debate, anywhere, anytime, the people of Kosovo deserve and are asking for this debate”, said Mustafa.
