Our judoka Laura Fazliu won the bronze medal at the World Judo Championship, which is being held in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

In the category up to 63 kilograms, Fazliu defeated the judoka from Canada, Catherine Beauchemin-Pinard, in the repechage final, KosovaPress reports.

Until the bronze medal, Fazliu passed the first round without a fight, while in the second she was defeated by the Croatian, Katarina Kristo. Laura continued with victory in the third round, defeating the Russian judoka Dali Liluashvili, while in the fight for the semi-finals she was defeated by the Slovenian Andreja Leski.

Afterwards, Laura continued the competition in the repechage, where in the first round she defeated the Australian Katharina Haecker, while in the final of the repechage she defeated the Canadian Beauchemin-Pinard.
