Latifi: Japan is one of Kosovo's most powerful partners in health

The Minister of Health, Rifat Latifi received in a meeting the new Charge d'Affaires at the Embassy of Japan in Kosovo, Keisuke Yamanaka, who confirmed the commitment to further promote and strengthen friendly relations between Japan and Kosovo, and to continue to support projects aimed at advancing health services. Minister Latifi congratulated Yamanaka on the new assignment and thanked him for Japan's continued support for the health system and in particular for the concrete support in the response against Covid-19. "Japan continues to be one of Kosovo's strongest partners in health and we are very grateful for that," said Minister Latifi, expressing readiness to intensify bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest, such as postgraduate training for our young students and doctors, both in Surgery and other medical fields.​
