Lajcak: We expect that Kurti and Vucic will officially accept the European plan on Monday
The EU special envoy
for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has stated that the President
of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic in January and the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin
Kurti in February, have said that they accept the European proposal in
principle and now intend to in Monday's meeting, both officially and publicly
accept it, as well as discuss its implementation.
Lajcak told the media
in Serbia that they have been discussing the European proposal with Vucic and
Kurti since September and that President Vucic, in January, and Prime Minister
Kurti in February, said that they accept the proposal in principle.
