The European Union Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has asked Kosovo not to be afraid of establishing the Association of Serbian Municipalities, since, according to him, this does not mean the creation of a "Serb Republic". He said that Kosovo has made a commitment to the Association and must find models to implement it, but without imposition, reports KosovaPress. On the third day of his stay in Kosovo, in a joint conference with the US representative for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, Lajçak underlined that he respects Kosovo's principles in dialogue. "Nothing can be imposed on Kosovo without the agreement and consent of Kosovo. I often hear the expression that we do not want a second Serb republic. I believe that we have made it clear many times that no one wants a 'Serb Republic' in Kosovo. There is a universal principle which says that what has been agreed must be applied. We are saying this to both parties, we are saying this in Pristina, we are saying this in Belgrade"...
