The Prime Minister Albin Kurti, has spoken about the referendum process on April 21 that will be held in the four northern municipalities: North Mitrovica, Zevçan, Leposavic, and Zubin Potok.

The head of the executive said that the Government led by him is at the service of the Election Commission for this process and that the Government is guaranteeing that the result of this referendum will be implemented fully and quickly.

Kurti said that the current mayors can leave the office, but not with fascist gangs that attack the Kosovo Police and KFOR.

Calling for participation in the elections, he said that April 21 is an opportunity to terminate the mandate of the current mayors and that such a thing can only happen through a legal process and not with violent gangs because, according to him, the Kosova Police does not allow such a thing.

Kurti made these statements during the visit to the beginning of the works of the project "Extension of the national road N9-Segment Kijevë-Dollc".
