Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti has expressed concern over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. He stated that Kosovo condemns "attacks resulting in the death and injury of civilians."

He made these remarks in an address to the government cabinet, emphasizing that children are facing severe consequences.

“Allow me to express the deep concern of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo regarding the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. As we have done in the past, we condemn attacks that result in the death and injury of civilians, especially children, who are facing severe consequences despite having no responsibility for the conflict and situation. Our government has already allocated half a million euros from its budget to support the Palestinian people in Gaza. We support every effort by our partners to achieve an immediate ceasefire that would create the possibility for regular and sufficient delivery of aid, the release of hostages, and the achievement of a long-term and sustainable solution between Israel and the Palestinians,” Kurti said.

Earlier this year, in January, the Government of Kosovo decided to allocate 500,000 euros for humanitarian aid in Gaza.
