Prime Minister Albin Kurti has stated that the situation of the Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian communities is not good. According to him, the RAE community is facing discrimination, poverty and lack of opportunities in socio-economic terms. At the opening of the first Western Balkan summit against racial discrimination, Kurti pledged that one of the most important objectives remains the drafting and implementation of policies and legislation to improve the rights of communities.

He added that this summit aims to create the practices of the Balkan countries to combat discrimination against communities.

Kurti pledged that the executive will continue its commitment to improve socio-economic conditions through the inclusiveness and advancement of communities.

The head of the executive at the opening of this summit has added that scholarships have been distributed to the students of the three communities in order to improve and advance their condition.
