Kurti: Preparations have begun for excavations in Kozhle, Serbia
Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that Serbia's strategy for concealing the committed crimes is being implemented even today by Milosevic's political heirs.The head of the executive said that during the years 1998-1999, Serbia has committed hundreds of massacres and thousands of forced disappearances of Albanians, for which, as Kurti said, there was a strategy of "no corpse, no crime". He announced that preparations have begun for excavations in Kozhle, Serbia.
At the round table organized in honor of the persons forcibly disappeared during the last war in Kosovo, Kurti added that they have sent several requests for the opening of the archives in Serbia.
According to him, the government prioritizes clarifying the fate and location of missing persons by developing the legal basis and increasing the capacities of institutions.
The head of the executive stressed that national mobilization and international support is needed to hold criminals accountable.
Kurti added that, according to the data of the Governmental Commission, there are about 13 locations within Kosovo addressed in terms of evaluation excavation. /Sh. Pajaziti
