The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met with the president of the American-Jewish Committee, Avital Leibovich, last night.

In a press release, it is said that during the meeting, the possibilities of deepening the cooperation between Israel and Kosovo were discussed, both in the field of entrepreneurship, security and culture, taking into account the shared history of friendship from the past.

Among other things, the importance of deepening cooperation in the field of diplomacy and economy was discussed, through the dynamism of communication and mutual visits of the institutional representatives of both countries.

The Government of the Republic of Kosovo is supporting the restoration and revitalization of the building which will house the Jewish Cultural Center in Prizren.

"This center, among other things, will present the exhibition where the history of the friendship between Kosovo and Israel and the history of the Jewish community in Kosovo will be displayed," the communiqué states.
