Sustainable peace, long-term stability and regional security were the topics of the meeting between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the United Kingdom's Envoy to the Western Balkans, Sir Stuart Peach, and the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Nicholas Abbott. Prime Minister Kurti thanked the emissary for the assistance and support of the United Kingdom before, during and after the war in Kosovo and the declaration of independence. The United Kingdom is an essential partner of Kosovo for development and security, said the Prime Minister, welcoming the appointment of Envoy Peach as a proper action that will contribute to the political processes in the Western Balkans. He stressed the commitment to maintaining and developing relations with the United Kingdom, emphasizing the diaspora, as a bridge to deepen cooperation in the field of investment as well as cultural and human cooperation.
