The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, attended last night the farewell reception for the Ambassador of Bulgaria to Kosovo, Hristo Gudjev.

Kurti expressed his gratitude to diplomat Gudjev.

"During the years that we have worked together, with your dedication, we have managed to advance and deepen the bilateral relations between our two countries," said the Prime Minister.

According to the announcement of the Government of Kosovo, during the mandate of Ambassador Gudjev, five visits of Bulgarian officials were carried out in Kosovo, including the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev, and 21 visits of Kosovo officials to Bulgaria were organized, including the meeting of Prime Minister Kurti with the Prime Minister of Bulgaria, Dimitar Glavchev, and the President of Bulgaria, Rumen Radev.

While mentioning the agreements reached between the two countries, the Prime Minister said that Bulgaria has been an advocate for Kosovo whenever they have requested it.

Kuti thanked the relevant authorities for their continuous and proven commitment to Kosovo, in particular the Bulgarian soldiers and officers who have served and are serving in Kosovo as a part of KFOR.

"Ambassador Gudjev is concluding his diplomatic mission, but the friends he has made here will last forever. We will miss him and I am sure that he will miss Kosovo. Therefore, I hope that he will be a regular guest in our country, which he can consider as his second home. On this occasion, I must thank not only His Excellency for everything he has done, but also the country that he represented admirably in Kosovo," said Prime Minister Kurti in his speech.
