The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti has said that the Government of Kosovo opposes the organization of the referendum of Serbia announced for January 16 next year. Asked whether the Government of Kosovo will allow this, Kurti said that the opposition of the government means action. Serbia intends to hold a referendum on internal affairs on January 16, but by extending it to Kosovo Serb-majority municipalities. "We know that Serbia intends to hold a referendum in Kosovo on January 16 on its internal affairs, but the Government of the Republic of Kosovo does not agree with such a thing not only because it is contrary to the law and our Constitution, but also because we consider that the previous practices applied by the previous governments have also been in violation of our law and constitution", said Kurti.
