KPC and KJC boycott vetting, from the Ministry of Justice say that they will continue with the reform

The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council and the Judicial Council are boycotting the work of the working group that is being done for drafting the draft law on the vetting process, despite this, from the Ministry of Justice say that this will not prevent them from continuing with the reform that they consider substantial for the justice system. On the other hand, the opposition considers it illogical to draft vetting without the involvement of these two important institutions of justice, while civil society advises the KPC and the KJC not to follow the policy of resentment but to join the work on vetting.

The adviser at the Ministry of Justice, Genc Nimoni said that representatives of the prosecutorial and judicial systems have participated in drafting the concept paper on vetting, but now both systems do not agree with this process, although earlier they agreed that vetting to be developed with legal changes...
