In her speech before the audience, Kostina said that KosovaPress is the main supporter of freedom of expression and that this is proven by KosovaPress's membership in European alliances.
Appreciating the role of KosovaPress in democracy, Kostina called to protect the privileges of new democracies.
"I really appreciate that KosovaPress, in my opinion, it is the main supporter of freedom of speech and I have my arguments in the context of membership of KosovaPress in the European alliance of news agency, because even some western country have very flexible and polite opinion, KosovaPress has very strong opinions, and it is also privilege probably for democracy for young democracies that have to defend every privilege they have, like a young country, young democracy", she said.
"I was listening to the speech of the spokesperson of Prime Minister, and I think KosovaPress also has a partner as in the government side, as in the Western embassies side, and I think it is a very good combination. I also think that KosovaPress already has many friends in EANA News Agency Alliance, and so I think you opened a new period, a very successful period, when you already have something and fully of energy to make something", she said.
