The acting Government of the Republic of Kosovo has established the Mandatory Health Care Fund of the Republic of Kosovo. The decision was taken at an electronic meeting held last night by the acting executive, as reported by KosovaPress.

The establishment of this fund is foreseen in the Law on Mandatory Health Insurance.

In the same meeting, the request of the Ministry of Health for the allocation of budget funds in the amount of €400,000 was also approved for the implementation of an agreement with United Nations troops.

In addition, budget funds amounting to €153,000 were allocated to support the implementation of three events under “OctoberTech” – an initiative that brings together some of the largest technology and innovation events in Kosovo.
