Kosovo welcomes two more Ukrainian journalists

Liudmyla Troitska and Olena Solodovnikova - are the next two Ukrainian journalists who arrived in Kosovo today.

Troitska and Solodovnikova will be accommodated in Kosovo, within the "Journalists in Residence - Kosovo" program, initiated by the European Center for Press and Media Freedom (ECPMF), and financially supported by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo.

So far, 11 Ukrainian journalists have been sheltered in Kosovo within the framework of this program. The program is being implemented by the Association of Journalists of Kosovo, in close cooperation with the ECPMF.

The journalists were welcomed at the airport by the Chairman of the AJK, Xhemajl Rexha, the Legal Officer of the ECPMF, Flutura Kusari, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Kosovo Police.

Months ago, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo approved the decision to extend the residence permit of 9 Ukrainian journalists who are temporarily sheltered in Kosovo.
