At the polling center at the “Lidhja e Prizrenit” Primary School, everything is now ready for the start of the electoral process for the extraordinary parliamentary elections.
The manager of this polling center, Mejreme Kolica-Shatri, said that the electoral material arrived on time and that everything is ready for the electoral process to begin.
“The material arrived on time, everything is in order and we are ready to start the voting. Here, 3,945 voters have the right to vote. The first to open the polling center will be the Chairperson of the CEC, Kreshnik Radoniqi. In this school there are five polling stations,” she said.
The principal of this school told KosovaPress that the assistance desk is missing again in this electoral process as well, but that a ramp has been arranged to provide access for persons with special needs.The number of voters with the right to vote in the municipality of Peja is 117,413 voters in a total of 30 counting centers in 139 polling stations, with one conditional polling center with a total of two polling stations.
A total of 1,999,024 people have the right to vote in these elections.
On February 9 of this year, the citizens of Kosovo voted in the regular parliamentary elections, in which voter turnout was 46.54%.
