The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, expressed optimism that a new dynamic will begin in the dialogue with Serbia, after the constitution of the new structures of the European Union. He underlined the importance of the withdrawal of the letter of the former Serbian Prime Minister, Ana Bernabiq from the EU, where according to him this proves withdrawal from the Brussels Basic Agreement and the Ohrid annex. In this regard, he emphasized the necessity of signing the agreement.

Kurti, in an address to the media after the Berlin Process Summit, also spoke about the decision to unilaterally remove the visa regime for Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the demands he presented in the meeting with the German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz.

He added that in the meeting with the German chancellor he requested the removal of EU measures against Kosovo.

Speaking about the unilateral lifting of visas for Bosnia from January 1, 2025, Kurti justified this decision, until he said that the Bosnian state, because of the Republika Srpska, has turned into a small Belarus in the Balkans.

Meanwhile, he also mentioned the need for planes departing or landing from the "Adem Jashari" airport in Kosovo to pass through the airspace of Serbia, since the same has been closed for 25 years.
