Strengthening the military capacities of Kosovo was the focus of discussions that the commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, accompanied by a KSF delegation, held with various arms manufacturers during the “SAHA Expo 2026” fair in Istanbul.

According to a statement from the KSF General Staff, Jashari attended the official opening ceremony, where he met with the leadership of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Türkiye.

It is reported that during this meeting, he presented his objectives for the development of the Force and discussed bilateral plans related to training, exercises, equipment, and other joint activities.

Lieutenant General Jashari closely followed technological developments in the defence industry, in line with the objectives for modernizing KSF capabilities.

“The delegation also held meetings with various manufacturers, focusing on strengthening the military capacities of the KSF in order to fulfill its mission,” the statement said.

SAHA EXPO 2026 is a key platform for strengthening cooperation with partners, where KSF participation contributes to the development of modern capabilities in addressing shared security challenges.
