Kosovo Police arrests person suspected of threatening senior state representatives
A person was arrested on Sunday at the Stanqiq Border Crossing Point, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Special Department of the Basic Court in Pristina.
According to the Kosovo Police, the suspect allegedly committed the criminal offense of “Violence against senior representatives of the Republic of Kosovo” through a social network on October 30, 2025.
“On July 12, 2026, at the Stanqiq Border Crossing Point, based on an arrest warrant issued by the Special Department of the Basic Court of Pristina, a male foreign citizen was arrested, as he had committed the aforementioned criminal offense through a social network on October 30, 2025,” the police report states.
Following the arrest, by decision of the prosecutor, the suspect was placed in detention.
