Kosovo has written one of the most beautiful chapters in its football history, securing a spectacular 4–2 comeback victory against Slovakia in Bratislava, in a dramatic and emotional match that sends them to the grand final of the World Cup play-offs.

The match started poorly for the “Dardanians”, who conceded as early as the 6th minute through Martin Valjent. However, Kosovo responded immediately, with Veldin Hoxha equalizing in the 31st minute. Just before halftime, Lukas Haraslin restored Slovakia’s lead (2–1), sending the teams into the break with the hosts ahead.

In the second half, Kosovo completely dominated. Fisnik Asllani leveled the score at 2–2 with a stunning goal, while Florent Muslija turned the game around in the 60th minute for 3–2. The victory was sealed by Kreshnik Hajrizi in the 72nd minute, making it 4–2 and sparking massive celebrations among the “Dardanians”.

With this win, Kosovo secures a place in the play-off final, where they will face Turkey on March 31 at the Fadil Vokrri Stadium, in a historic match that could determine their qualification for the World Cup.
