The acting government of Kosovo has removed the customs tariff with the United States of America.

From now on, all products originating from the U.S. will have a zero percent tariff when entering Kosovo, said acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti during the government meeting on Friday, August 1.

“Another very important decision we are making today is the removal of the customs tariff with the United States of America. From now on, all products originating from the U.S. will have a zero percent tariff when entering our country. Kosovo welcomes American products in its market and we strongly believe this will contribute to increased trade exchange and a boost in investments. This is another step that demonstrates the very good relations between our two countries and at the same time shows our commitment and determination to reach a free trade agreement with the U.S.,” said Kurti.
