The meeting of the Kosovo Judicial Council (KJC) failed to take place due to a lack of quorum. Six items were on the agenda. The first and main item of the meeting was the election of the Chair of the KJC, KosovaPress reports.

The agenda also included the announcement of a competition for the President of the Administrative Court and the establishment of an evaluation committee for candidates.

The Deputy Chair of the Kosovo Judicial Council, Arjeta Sadiku, announced that the meeting will be held on another date, which will be made public.

“The meeting today cannot be held due to a lack of quorum. Ahmet Imami sent an email stating that, for health reasons, he cannot participate in today’s meeting. The next meeting will be held on another date, which you will be informed about in time,” Sadiku said.

Candidates for the Chair of the KJC are Besnik Bislimaj and Rrustem Thaci.
