Kosovo and Albania military personnel train for response to urban disasters
At the International Training Center for Search and Rescue of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) National Guard, a Basic and Advanced Urban Search and Rescue training was conducted, with the participation of personnel from the Kosovo Security Force and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania.
According to a statement from the Kosovo Security Force, the training covered topics related to preparing and training participants to respond to natural and human-made disasters, operational planning, developing individual search and rescue skills in urban environments, teamwork in rescue operations, the use of appropriate equipment, application of search and rescue procedures, and providing first aid.
The KSF stated that this training represents the continuation of bilateral cooperation between Kosovo and Albania in the field of security and emergency response, contributing to increased response capabilities in urban emergency situations and strengthening interoperability between the two forces.
