Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, today held a meeting with the Executive Director of the Kosova Rehabilitation Centre for Torture Victims, Feride Rushiti.

“I thanked Ms. Rushiti for her tireless engagement and extraordinary dedication in supporting survivors of wartime sexual violence, a mission of special importance not only for the survivors and our society, but also for strengthening justice and dignity in our state,” said Acting President Haxhiu.

On this occasion, Acting President Haxhiu assured Ms. Rushiti that she will have her full support, as well as that of the institutions, in every effort to advance the rights, dignity, and well-being of survivors.
