The Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjufca, has stated that in all the letters and recommendations that Kosovo will give for the implementation of the basic agreement with Serbia, it will explain that the most important thing is to start implementing the principles of the agreement, which Serbia has violated many times and all this gives the Kosovo institutions the right not to take a step forward in technical matters.

Konjufca, after the meeting with the President of the Swiss National Council, Eric Nussbaumer, said that the insistence position of the Government of Kosovo is the implementation and respect of the basic agreement.

According to him, the concrete issues of the agreement can have deadlines, but they cannot have deadlines in principle. Konjufca added that Serbia is violating the principles of this agreement.

The President of the Swiss National Council, Eric Nussbaumer, has stated that Switzerland will continue its commitments in the field of security in Kosovo and the region by having more than 200,000 Swiss soldiers in KFOR.

Nussbaumer also said that they have followed with concern the complex relations between Kosovo and Serbia

Nussbaumer has mentioned that peace in the northern part of Kosovo is important for Switzerland, therefore, according to him, they support the efforts for dialogue.

He added that a solution must be found to get out of the blockade.

Otherwise, Nussbaumer will also have meetings with other heads of security institutions in Kosovo.
